My longest drive
Sunday I drove my longest trip, 520 kilometers. The trip is a start of our road trip to Italy. I am nervous for the trip but at the same time I look so much forward to it.
The trip was heading to Bensheim in Germany, which I knew from last July. It was great to drive in my ‘heimat’, but I cannot get used to the German driving style.
On the trip we picked up a new friend with whom I have a lot in common. We are both green, we both take our homes and we are both a little slow. It is a green turtle named Diana-Charlie.
When we arrived in Bensheim it was very busy, it became clear the Winzerfest was ongoing. The yearly winefest attracts people from far. So I share the parking with an international crowd.
Tomorrow we continue our road trip, for now I take a rest on a nice parking with a lot of Suzuki 2 wheeled friends.
