From Rhine river to Moselle river
In the morning we started to see the waterfalls of the Rhine at Schaffhausen. The weather was not great but the waterfall was impressive.
We continued our route on the highways 81 and 61, which are beautiful highways. Today it was not raining continuously as yesterday but still quite some rain with little sunshine.
It was a 450km drive through Germany. But on one parking they had a reserved spot for me. So kind those Germans to let older ladies like me park in front.
In the late afternoon we arrived at a hotel along the Moselle river in a small village between vineyards. The village Winningen is famous for wine. We arrived just after the 10 day oldest German winzerfest.
I take my rest here at the Moselle river and prepare for the last drive home tomorrow. I cannot wait to tell my family about this trip.
