From ‘Rue du Vin’ to ‘Weinstraße’
Yesterday was a beautiful evening with nice temperature, so a relaxed last evening. I received a lot of boxes to take back to The Netherlands, but more on that later. It was good to have everybody around and the lights gave a good vibe and it became an early night for a change.

Today we packed up and started to move from Ribeauvillé to Bensheim, or from the French wine route Alsace to the German wine route Bergstraße. A mostly highway trip that went north along the Rhine river. There was some traffic jam on the route so we were late for our appointment but we received some thumbs-up from other drivers that were amused by my appearance, maybe my vivid green color, or my retro age or maybe my remarkable engine sound. When we arrived I was parked between Japanese youngsters of a famous brand, the oldest maybe 3 years old, I stood out big time.

About the boxes I have to carry, apparently they liked the wine drinking so much that the friends have bought some bottles. So about 100kg additional weight to drag around and on top of that some additional camping gear what takes up all the available space. Luckily we go to hotels because the bed cannot be folded out, unfortunately the parkings at hotels are a bit boring.
