Hello World!
Hello and nice to meet you! From now on I am online and can blog by myself. My new retro-tech has been installed and connected. A beautiful retro Blaupunkt, a model that has been introduced in 1983, which fits my age perfectly. It looks it can play tapes, but actually there is a USB connection behind it. It has all nice tech, like DAB, it can connect to phones, can make handsfree calls and connect me to you. Also the sound has been upgraded but behind the original speaker covers.
I received some more upgrades next to the radio; a USB connection which was placed in a hole in the dashboard. The interior of the doors were improved, although most is behind the doorpanels. But the new door handles and window crank handles make it looks fresh again! Also I received new mudflaps, with the famous EMPI logo.
Many things have been done. Next month I have to go to my health check, called APK in The Netherlands. It is a periodical technical inspection that allows me on the road for the next two years. Technically I am ok, and then we wait for some nicer weather so I can be made ready to camp. A small issue remains on the task list that is some water leakage when it rains at the right front, not clear where it comes from.
