Giro lago di Como
Today was a very good day, I drove around the Como lake. 170km of turns, uphill, downhill, tunnels and more of that fun!
It was hard work of accelerating, braking, up and down shifting but I enjoyed every meter. Sometime the road was too narrow to have vehicles passing in opposite direction.
But the best was that the views on the trip were astonishing.
We spend all day on the road with stops at quiet places to enjoy the view. Como, Bellagio and Ravenna were quite busy but furthermore there were not many cars on the road.
I share a summary of what I have seen, it was too much to show all so it is a 3 minute summary of a beautiful trip.
It has been a dream come true that I could drive around the Como lake. Today it reminded me of an expression of a friend which is quite applicable now, that is “nooit meer naar huis”. Translated it means like: never want to go home. That is my feeling today, I love it here!
Fir tomorrow I have a surprise, one hint: it has to do with clover four leaves.
