All ok again!
Last Wednesday I returned home with less power, that was a little worrying. After some rest it was still not ok and it was not related to the carburator as first thought. Today I got a check-up to find out the cause for my troubles.
I got my valve clearance checked, all ok. So no trouble there. Then my compressions was checked of all my cilinders and also this was ok.
During the check of the compression one of the spark-plugs was loose and it seemed that was the problem. Black and not much of an air gap, there had not been much sparks lately. So a new spark-plug did the trick, I had all my 34 horse power available again.
Some broken wire of the license plate light was also repaired. We went for a small test drive, my conclusion is that I definitely need a new carburator. The idling was completely off again. However maybe Timmy has time to finish my new power plant, that would be awesome!
So I am ready for my next trip! I can’t wait to go somewhere, somewhere with nice weather.
