Home sweet home
This was a tough day. First of all I was out in the rain last night, that did not happen this holiday. Then when we left I hit my head hard. Some weird kind of speed bumps that I ran over too fast (far below speed limit). It hurt, but nothing was broken so we could continue to the highway.

So not a good start of the day. Then on the highway all went well, until we entered the Netherlands, there we got very heavy rain. The vision was gone and the power was reduced all of a sudden so we continued on the emergency lane to the next exit, where we had a break.

After the break I could not use full power. I could not breath freely, so the quick-fix with a tie-rip has some limitations. I was still able to follow trucks, so we did. It was a very stressful ride. There was a strong wind and when entering the dike for the last 30km to Enkhuizen. There was no truck to follow and a strong head wind. I could not do more than 80km/h, and soon a truck was dooming up behind us. He was quite relaxed but I was happy to arrive at the other side.
Then we returned at our home and after unloading the equipment I entered my room. I have my brother and sister great stories to tell on my amazing adventure of 3.533 kilometers. I will enjoy the warmth of my room and the company of my family. Short for my brother, he seems to have a busy time ahead, bounding for Belgium, England, Germany, Italy and Japan. I think he is fooling me with the last one…
This is my last blog for this adventure. I will keep blogging but less frequent now with the holidays over and the rainy and cold days are coming.
