Low ‘N Slow
The name Low ’n Slow used to be popular among use Beetles and relatives the Transporters. After looking on the internet it seems that Low ’n Slow now-a-days is some cooking principle.
Anyway Low ‘N Slow fits me very well. It is my credo of which I go by, it is about enjoying what is happening around you as you go when you take your time. The Italians have an expression that comes close; Il dolce far niente, the sweet of doing nothing. Next to that the name is literally correct:
Low for the ground clearance of 6cm. But no worries I have a nice yellow skid-plate that helps me if I did not see the bump in the road.
Slow is for my acceleration and top speed. My acceleration is not quick, it takes some time before I am at speed. Other cars are sometimes impatient and, in some cases, even rude. What is the rush? I comfortable can cruise with 100 km/h, good speed to enjoy the scenery.
It also fits the holiday plans, to go low cost and at slow pace, without a lot of planning.
