Do as the Italians do
For such a long trip I need to look good. So I got myself some new shiny parts. Of course the parts should be reflect my age, it is all about going in style. It is Italy the number one fashion country so I have to look at my best.
I got some nice shiny bullet mirrors. These mirrors were popular in the 70’s, they were used on many cars, popular mounted on the front of the car, but that is not possible with my curves. The rearward view has not improved, the right mirror does show some area nobody needs to watch but it looks damn good on me!

The other part I am still not convinced on… A national id plate with my year of birth. I understand it is mandatory because I have an old registration plate without EU sign, but the year is just too personal, people can see I am old but with this it is confronting. I ignore the number and when I am asked I answer it is the 72 number of MotoGP rider Bezzecchi of the VR46 racing team, connects to the Valentino Rossi number on the bumper and my yellow colour anyway.
When in Italy I will do as the Italians do to fit in, so there the 46 sticker helps and I will adjust my driving a little to adapt to the Italian style. The NL plate will give me an excuse if I fail to do as the Italians do, the surely will understand and smile.
