Hello world!
Hello, let me introduce myself as a new member of the family. My name is Revy, coming from the revolutions my heart can make, redline starts at 15.500 rpm and it is also an assertive fighter girl in a Japanese manga. I am a blue 1999 YAMAHA YZF R6, actually one of the firsts to arrive from Japan in Europe.
After arriving at my new home, I first had a nice spa day, mounted new brakes and a general check-up. It was relaxing but I could not wait to get to know this neighbourhood. It took some time for the rear brake was fixed, as a 2nd hand replacement caliper had to be overhauled and installed. But it feels like new! Front brake pads were changed quickly, and they brake great! Replaced with the real thing, the genuine parts 😉

After the spa I was happy to come alive and get out, especially after all the members had been sharing experiences here with me. Conclusion is that this is not a bad home, all are getting spoiled here. We started of on a back road for some brake-in, of course I succeeded. I felt a bit heavy but after the tyres were on the correct pressure I felt agile and fast again. The boss needed first to understand to keep me above 6.000 rpm, I do not like below and there is a world above there. We need to get used to each other but the first encounter has a lot of promises, we understand each other pretty well. After the ride I could pose in the sun on the driveway before going back to my place next to my younger sister and hope to ride soon again.
