Spring Ride
It was time for a ride; reasonable temperature, dry tarmac and sunshine. Some tulip fields started to blossom so good for a ride out. It was not the first time to start after the winter season but a dead battery prevented me to leave the driveway. Anyway today we could head for a tour, all suited up and we off we went. Unfortunately at the dyke there were a lot of mosquitos above the road, impossible to avoid. So at the end of the Markerwaarddijk some cleaning was needed. Normally there are not so much mosquitos at this time of the year. At the other side of the dyke it was much better and we could see the tulip fields blossoming. As it was a weekday it was not busy so we could enjoy the small towns we passed in the 170km tour.

After the tour it was time for a spa time, getting cleaned and get the dead mosquitos off my body. After the cleaning I could dry in the sun. After all it was nice to stretch the tyres after the winter season. Looking forward the next trip.
